Camping & Village Rais Gerbi
First Impressions
When I first pulled into Camping & Village Rais Gerbi, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a four-star camping village along Sicily’s northern coast. But you know what? This place surprised me in the best way possible. Set right along the SS 113 coastal road near Pollina, it’s got this perfect balance of organized comfort and that laid-back Mediterranean vibe you come to Sicily for. The fact that couples rate the location 9.1 out of 10 tells you something — there’s definitely romance in the air here, especially when you catch those sunset views over the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The Accommodation Experience
I stayed in one of their mobile homes, and honestly, it felt more like a proper apartment than camping accommodation. The kitchen was actually well-equipped — I mean, you can really cook here, not just heat up instant noodles. Each unit has its own little terrace where you can sit with your morning coffee and listen to the waves. The room layouts are smart too, giving families enough space without feeling cramped. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to create privacy between units, so you’re not hearing your neighbors’ every conversation.
Location and Natural Setting
The location is honestly the star here — recent guests rated it 9.0, and I totally get why. You’re literally steps from a gorgeous stretch of beach that’s way less crowded than the tourist hotspots further west. Pollina’s old town is just a short drive up into the hills, where you can wander medieval streets and grab dinner at family-run trattorias. The Madonie Mountains create this dramatic backdrop that changes color throughout the day, and on clear mornings, you can actually see the Aeolian Islands floating on the horizon.
Facilities and Daily Life
The village has everything you need without feeling overwhelming — there’s a restaurant serving decent Sicilian classics, though I’d recommend venturing out to try the local spots too. The pool area becomes the social heart during the day, and there’s enough space that it never feels overcrowded. Parking is free and right on-site, which is actually a bigger deal than you might think along this stretch of coast. They’ve also got a small market for essentials, so you don’t have to drive into town every time you need something basic.
Why Guests Love It
What really works about Rais Gerbi is how it captures that authentic Sicilian coastal experience without sacrificing comfort. You wake up to sea breezes, spend your days alternating between the beach and exploring hilltop villages, and end up having aperitivo while watching fishing boats return to nearby Cefalù. It’s particularly perfect for couples looking for that sweet spot between adventure and relaxation — close enough to explore the region’s incredible towns and natural parks, but peaceful enough that you actually want to spend time just enjoying where you are. The staff seems to genuinely care about making sure you experience the real Sicily, not just the tourist version.
Discover luxury resort villages that offer the perfect blend of intimate community atmosphere and world-class amenities, providing guests with unforgettable vacation experiences in stunning natural settings.

We had pretty nice stay for one night. Quiet campsite (in October ;)), under the pine trees (!), has pool. We had bungalo - it is very simple and basic, but spacious. Have to bring your own towels and dishes.
