The location is genuinely spectacular — I mean, you’re surrounded by olive groves and vineyards as far as the eye can see. Murlo itself is this charming medieval village that most tourists never discover, which honestly makes it even better. You’re about 30 minutes from Siena, so you can easily explore the famous sites, but you’ll actually want to spend your evenings here just soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The sunsets from the property are something else entirely.

Accommodations & Amenities

What surprised me most was how well-appointed everything is for a camping resort. My room (well, it was actually a mobile home) had a proper kitchen with everything I needed, plus a private terrace where I spent most mornings with coffee. The grounds include a restaurant that serves surprisingly good local dishes — the pici pasta with wild boar ragu was memorable. There’s also a swimming pool that’s perfect for cooling off during those warm Tuscan afternoons, and parking is never an issue since the property is so spacious.
