Bend-Sunriver Camping Resort Two-Bedroom Cabin 7
First Impressions
The Bend-Sunriver Camping Resort Two-Bedroom Cabin 7 sits tucked away in Sunriver, and honestly, it’s one of those places that surprises you the moment you pull up. This four-star cabin feels more substantial than your typical camping resort accommodation — I mean, we’re talking about a proper two-bedroom setup that actually gives you space to breathe. The setting along South Century Drive puts you right in the heart of Central Oregon’s high desert landscape, where ponderosa pines stretch as far as you can see and the air has that crisp, clean quality you just don’t get in the city.
The Cabin Experience
Walking into this place, you’ll find it’s designed for couples who want their own space without sacrificing comfort. The two-bedroom layout means you’re not cramped into a single room situation, and there’s actually a proper kitchen where you can cook real meals instead of surviving on camp food. The furnishings are practical rather than fancy, but everything works well — comfortable beds, decent lighting, and windows that frame those gorgeous Oregon views. You know what I appreciated most? The cabin maintains that rustic camping feel while giving you the amenities you actually need for a relaxing getaway.
Location and Natural Setting
Sunriver is honestly one of those places that feels like Oregon’s best-kept secret, even though it’s been a destination for decades. You’re surrounded by the Cascade Mountains, with the Deschutes River winding through the area and countless hiking trails practically at your doorstep. The resort itself offers that classic Pacific Northwest camping experience — think towering trees, wildlife sightings, and air so clean it almost makes you dizzy. From the cabin, you can easily explore the Newberry National Volcanic Monument or just spend hours walking the resort’s trails without seeing another soul.
Practical Amenities
One thing that makes this place work for couples is the thoughtful setup — you get parking right on site, which might sound basic but trust me, it matters when you’re hauling gear or groceries. The cabin comes equipped with everything you need for a self-sufficient stay, from cookware to linens, so you don’t have to pack like you’re going on a wilderness expedition. The resort facilities are there when you want them, but the cabin gives you enough privacy that you can completely disconnect if that’s what you’re after.
Why Guests Love It
This place really shines for couples looking to escape without roughing it too much. The combination of natural beauty and comfortable accommodations hits that sweet spot where you feel like you’re camping but can still get a good night’s sleep and a hot shower. The Sunriver area offers just enough activities — from golf courses to river access — without feeling crowded or overdeveloped. It’s the kind of place where you can spend three days and feel like you’ve been gone for a week, in the best possible way.
Premium village resorts combine the charm of traditional village life with modern luxury accommodations, creating unique destinations where travelers can immerse themselves in local culture and relaxation.

Jacobsen
The cabin was clean and well equipped. The comfortable bed was a great surprise! The pools and hot tub were nice and clean. Wish the store was open. They have a huge recreation building but not in use. Would be great to have pool tables or other activities in it.
