The Australind Tourist Park embraces its natural surroundings, providing guests with a quintessential Australian outdoor experience while maintaining modern comforts. The park’s location in Australind places visitors in a unique position to experience the beauty of the Leschenault Estuary, where the Brunswick and Collie Rivers meet before flowing into the Indian Ocean. This waterfront setting creates endless opportunities for fishing, boating, and wildlife observation, with the region known for its abundant birdlife and occasional dolphin sightings. The highly-rated tourist park serves as more than just accommodation; it’s a gateway to experiencing the authentic coastal lifestyle that defines this relaxed community just north of Bunbury. Visitors to Australind Tourist Park will find themselves perfectly positioned to explore the diverse attractions of the region. The nearby Leschenault Peninsula Conservation Park offers spectacular walking trails through pristine coastal vegetation, while the vibrant city of Bunbury with its famous Dolphin Discovery Centre is just a short drive away. For those seeking culinary adventures, the park’s proximity to the emerging food and wine regions of Ferguson Valley and Harvey provides ample opportunities for day trips and tasting excursions. After days filled with exploration, guests return to the comfort of the tourist park, where the friendly staff—a factor contributing to its strong 8.2 rating—are always ready to share local knowledge and ensure a memorable stay. Whether utilizing the park as a convenient stopover on a longer Southwest journey or as a destination in itself, Australind Tourist Park represents the warm hospitality and natural beauty that make Western Australia a treasure for domestic and international travelers alike. The booking, arrival and departure were smooth and easily accomplished. The facilities were clean, tidy and spacious.
What could be improved: Access to our room was a little awkward as there was a large firehose box taking up a part of the verandah. However, I'm presuming it was necessary in case of fire
