AJ Ray Properties A8

HOTEL OVERVIEW
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about AJ Ray Properties A8 at Sunnymede Caravan Park, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name alone had me scratching my head, and let’s face it, Ingoldmells isn’t exactly the first place that comes to mind when you think boutique accommodation. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are the ones that catch you completely off guard.
This place is basically what happens when someone with really good taste decides to create something special in an unexpected spot. It’s tucked away in the caravan park – which sounds dodgy until you realize it’s actually quite brilliant because you get this peaceful, almost residential feel while being literally minutes from Skegness seafront. The accommodation itself is nothing like the typical caravan park setup you’re probably imagining. We’re talking proper attention to detail here, the kind of thoughtful touches that make you think someone actually cares about your stay rather than just processing bookings. The interior design honestly surprised me – it’s got this contemporary feel that somehow works perfectly with the seaside location without being all nautical-themed and cheesy about it.
What really sets this place apart is how it manages to feel both relaxed and refined at the same time. You can hear the distant sounds of the coast (which is lovely, actually), but you’re far enough from the main Ingoldmells strip that you won’t be dealing with late-night revelers stumbling past your window. The owners clearly know their stuff – they’ve created something that works for couples wanting a proper getaway without the stuffiness of a traditional hotel. Parking is dead easy, which anyone who’s been to the Lincolnshire coast during peak season will appreciate, and the whole check-in experience feels more like you’re staying with friends who happen to run an incredibly well-organized operation. I mean, with a 9.5 rating, they’re obviously doing something very right. The location puts you close enough to Fantasy Island and the beach to keep everyone happy, but far enough from the chaos that you can actually unwind. It’s one of those places where you realize that sometimes the best experiences come from people who are passionate about hospitality rather than just following some corporate playbook – and honestly, that makes all the difference.
