3 bed caravan Norfolk near the coast

HOTEL OVERVIEW
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Lord’s Lane looking for this place, I wasn’t entirely sure what I’d gotten myself into. The listing said “3 bed caravan” and I mean, that’s exactly what it is, but somehow it works better than you’d expect. Tucked away in this quiet corner of Belton, it’s one of those stays that completely catches you off guard. The whole setup is nestled behind Burgh Hall, which gives it this unexpectedly private feel – you’re not dealing with the usual holiday park chaos that Norfolk’s coast is famous for.
What actually surprised me was how thoughtfully everything’s been done. The caravan itself is properly spacious (and I say this as someone who’s been crammed into plenty of “cozy” accommodations), with three separate sleeping areas that actually feel private. The owners clearly get that families need space to spread out – there’s decent storage, the kitchen’s functional enough for proper cooking, and honestly, the whole place feels more like a little holiday home than temporary digs. You know what really won me over though? It’s the location. You’re literally ten minutes from Great Yarmouth’s beaches, but you wake up to countryside quiet instead of seagulls and traffic. I could actually hear myself think in the mornings, which is rare when you’re staying anywhere near the Norfolk coast during summer.
The area around Belton is one of those spots that locals know but somehow stays off most tourists’ radar – there’s proper countryside walks right from the door, and you’re close enough to Burgh Castle (the actual Roman ruins, not just some made-up attraction) for an easy afternoon trip. Parking’s right there, no messing about with permits or wondering if your car’s safe. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward key-juggling you get at some places. I’ll admit it’s not going to win any luxury awards, and if you’re expecting hotel-style service, you’re barking up the wrong tree. But for what it is – a proper base for exploring this part of Norfolk without breaking the bank – it delivers. The value is genuinely solid, especially if you’re traveling with kids or just want somewhere you can actually relax without feeling like you’re on display. It’s the kind of place that grows on you, and I found myself already planning a return trip before I’d even packed up to leave.
